In general scenario, if you are looking to buy a vehicle, there’s a lot of research that goes into it. Once you decide to buy a vehicle, you will go around the showrooms to get the quotes and to find the price of the car. Another way is to search around the internet and find prices, which is a tedious job to just find the prices.

Wouldn’t it be great to have a mobile application that can do this job. The app ‘Gaadiwala‘ is made just for this purpose, just select the Car Manufacturer(Eg: Maruti) and the City (Eg: Delhi) where you want to purchase the car and hit the “Get List” => This fetches you the price details of all models and variants made by selected manufacturer.This substantially reduces your effort in finding the prices by avoiding you to roam around showrooms and various blogs/websites.

Tap to decide whether Bike price or Car price.
Select the Manufacturer(Autocomplete as you type).
Select the City (Autocomplete as you type).

Galaxy Y – An economical cellphone or an utter crap

E-commerce has grown to a larger extent in the past few years. These days mobiles and phone accessories are amongst the top online sold items in India. Android has become the buzz word these days in mobile market. One sector that captured people’s attention towards Android, is its availability in economical mobile phones made by several manufacturers like Samsung, HTC and so on. Economical android mobiles such as Galaxy Y, Micromax Ninja, HTC Explorer are quite popular and successful in the low range mobile section.

Samsung Galaxy Y in particular is a hot selling mobile phone in the market. Galaxy Y is available in some online shops such as Zoomin for less than 7000 INR. Here is a quick review of Galaxy Y from two perspective viz 1. from a normal mobile user and 2. high range mobile user.

What’s bad about Galaxy Y

Cannot upgrade your Android. This is one huge setback for a smartphone.
Lacks support for many applications (mostly games) because of the Android version.
Mobile hangs at time. Though not so frequent, it is a issue to be noted.
Screen is quite smaller. The scren size of Galaxy Y looks almost close to the battery size of Galaxy S2 (screen size of Galaxy Y is alteast 50% less than that of Galaxy S2). So when it comes to typing something, you will have real problem touching the right key.
Screen resolution is quite horrible. Although its an economical phone a decent resolution screen would have made it good.
Kies Air is not supported. So you cannot transfer kies from your computer using WiFi.

What’s good for a normal user

An Android mobile from Samsung at around 7000 is a warm welcome for youngsters. Although you could get Micromax android phones for even lesser amount, Samsung Galaxy Y has the brand value which highlights it from the rest of the low range mobile.
Almost all features of Android are available such as Video Player, Play store, Voice Record, Gmail etc.

Having seen both the goods and bad of Galaxy Y the overall rating for the product is satisfactory.

Twitter for iPhone Update Promises Enhancements

The internet is all aflutter with rumors about upcoming changes to the Twitter iPhone application. A memo leaked in early July outlined a host of new or improved features which promise to enhance the Twitter experience for iPhone users. Version 4.3 promises more user-friendly interactive features as well as opportunities for more personalization.

The memo was leaked to the iOS 6 Store on July 6. In addition to the features detailed below, the leaked notes also promised to correct known bugs and crash issues. It’s possible that the features may change prior to the official release of 4.3. Neither Twitter nor Apple has commented on the breach.

A comparable leak occurred in the past just prior to the release of an Instagram update. In that instance, the upgrade was launched only ten days after the leak. At this time there is no word on when Version 4.3 will be available, but iOS 6 is slated for a fall release.

The new version will feature the revamped Twitter bird and Hungarian will now be available. Other changes to anticipate:

Personalization Enhancements

The new version will allow the user to tap another user’s avatar to be taken instantly to their user profile.
The manual password input function has been tweaked to eliminate existing authentication issues.
Users will be able to personalize the trends they wish to follow.

Interactive Improvements

Version 4.3 has more interactive options for the user. Videos, content previews, images and other information will be viewable when tweets are linked to other websites.
Earmarked special events will trigger highlighting of related tweets.
Users will also have the option to receive push notices when selected people tweet. Subtle tweet notices will be created when using the application, and will be displayed on the phone’s status bar. This last feature is similar to one offered by Tweetbot.

Tab Changes

When new stories are ready to be viewed the Discover tab will alert the user.
The Connect tab is also being improved, with a more functional autocomplete process when searching for contacts.

Although not included in the July 6 leak, a separate screenshot leak points to possible removal of client stamps on tweets. The screenshot, which may be just part of Twitter’s computer based testing, is missing the “sent from” information at the bottom of the tweet. Whether this is an intentional planned policy change is unknown at this time.

What is a Smart phone?

A smart phone is a technically enhanced hybrid device which combines the features of both a mobile phone and a PDA (Personal Digital Assistant), making it more like a tiny mobile PC.

Standard Smart Phone Features

The most significant features that make a smart phone ‘smart’ are the APIs (Application Programming Interfaces), which run third-party applications. Applications, commonly referred to as ‘apps’, are tiny software programs which can be downloaded and used by the device to perform a specific task.It almost goes without saying that all smart phones have an inbuilt app which enables them to receive 3G mobile broadband. Other standard features include digital camera, media player, GPS navigation and video capabilities.There are also literally thousands of other apps available to download, offering a seemingly endless list of functions. Many are intended to enhance or extend the existing functionality of inbuilt apps, while others may have a completely separate purpose which makes use of mobile broadband capabilities, with mobile games being good examples.

Photo-editing software, digital-music organisers and additional maps for GPS navigation are the most popular downloads. There is even an app which will allow the user to view, edit and create MS Office documents. The last definitive feature of smart phones is that they have a QWERTY keyboard rather than a numeric keypad. Who Buys Smart Phones?

Just about everyone these days! It is a cheaper option than supplying both a laptop and mobile phone. Many actively encourage staff to use the video calling function rather than normal voice calls to promote interactivity.Individuals are rather more complex in their buying habits. There are those who have a phone contract and regularly receive upgraded handsets. This often means that the device is largely underused.

Android on PCs, the much awaited deal

Running android on laptop is no more a farfetched dream now. After enjoying android’s -free- app on cellphones, the users can work on the same on their systems as well. BlueStacks App Player, a startup software package, is the name that is responsible for making the dream come true for android freaks.

Effortlessly, this software package runs and synchronizes Android apps to Windows computer. As per the stats, more than 550,000 downloads have been recorded since October this year and on top of that, it is a program which was released in alpha form seven weeks ago. A huge number, which definitely has a huge scope to escalate.

If windows 8 is coming in tablets than android on our systems would be equally excited idea. And this would beckon the users who would be now be experiencing android’s beautiful UI and a plethora of apps, which would be an added bonus of being in an arena of the OS.

I feel the aim behind all this is to lay the groundwork for the future of the PC-to-smartphone experience. By giving the cross device functionality BlueStacks has put the Android and Windows crowd a step ahead of Apple, which of course is a welcome move.

The BlueStacks app player gives a preloaded version of 10 Android Apps by default and simultaneously it supports 26 various apps. And on top of that, it asserts to come up with the paid apps while removing the number limit in its Pro version. Did I also tell you that the company’s future plans include the support of the app player for Mac OS X? Now that is called the much awaited deal one can vouch for!

Finally Nokia decided to change its Symbian OS to more user friendly windows mobile, its about time but doesn’t mean that the users don’t like the previous system but there’s a lot more changes to the mobile industries which Nokia is trying to get along and cope up with, and getting along just not include mobile alone it’s the whole package which comes along with it things like WI-fi ,Apps, email facility and lot more other stuffs which a mobile phone tend to require these days .Nokia understood that just a phone wouldn’t do the trick anymore and it’s all about what more can this little device we call “the mobile” can really do and how well it does it matters a lot today. so Nokia already mentioned that there will be changes to its next new invention and change was seen , changes brought in the form of Nokia’s Lumia. the giants of mobile phone industries team up with the herculean of computer industry to produce something revolutionary yet could change things to come but only time would tell how successful the two allies would be successful or not.So the lunch of the new and improved Nokia” in the form of Lumia 800 and Lumia 710 is gonna hit Indian market this month ,let’s go a bit deeper into the phone specifications shall we? the core system is completely changed from its predecessor , It’s called the first Nokia’s Windows mobile , first of its kind and more to come along with it.So ,Then what’s new with the Lumia, it looks kinda familiar too .that’s because the new Lumia takes up the appears of Nokia’s N9 both look pretty much alike but the system and the technology inside have completely changed, The phone looks good and different all together. Looking into the specifications it has a 3.7 inch screen , single core 1.4 GHz processor ,512 MB RAM,16 GB internal memory storage a 3.7 inch screen with 16 million colors also with 8Megpixel camera this is for the high end Lumia 800. probably it’s the configuration which is already existing with its competitors product but nor we cannot say it’s a brand new specification , it’s seems fairly similar with almost all the manufactures today.
The features with this mobile could bring a total change to the Nokia’s mobile ranges .one of the down side of this pretty little thing we found is that the lumia doesn’t have a front camera! yes this windows mobile which doesn’t have front camera so apps like Skype will not support video calls(Skype is consider to be one of the vital app for windows mobile) , more would be covered when we get our hands on the device so the phone is ready to hit the market all over and everyone are excited about it so be sure to check this space for more on Lumia when its out, feel free to let us know whether the new windows mobile will surpass the androids and the Iphones ,it’s expected to hit Indian market around third week ,probably mid December so it could be a perfect gift for Christmas. Nokia’s Lumia 800 price is expected to be around 25,000 – 29,000 INR
