Using Software to reduce the brightness of the screen

I recently came across a very useful application that can reduce the brightness of your screen in a click. The application Dim Screen is a portable tool, that allows the user to change the brightness of the screen by simply running it. There are fixed level of brightness control points (starting from 0% to 90% in the multiples of 10). Mostly incase of laptops when you don’t have the graphics driver, you will not be able to reduce the brightness, such case this software can be useful.
