How to Change the Default Search Engine in Firefox

Google is the default search engine in Firefox. However Firefox provides support to change to any search engine you want to. You can select from popular search engines such as Google, Yahoo, Amazon, Answers, Creative Commons, Wikipedia, EBay etc. Apart from the ones mentioned in the list, Firefox also supports other search engines to be added. There are more than 700 different search engines available in the Firefox addon directory.

To change the default search engine in Firefox, you need to click on the drop down menu in the search box and select from any of the given services. If the search engine you want is not displayed in the list , you can click on Manage search engine – then add the required search engines.
