Facebook groups have been so popular these days. To rename a facebook group one must be the administrator of the group. Without the administrator privileges a member or non-member cannot modify the group name.
How to rename Facebook Group
1. Login to your Facebook Account Page

2. Open the Particular Group which you want to rename and then click on the “Edit Group option” (as shown in the image below)
Select Edit Group Option
3. In the opened page, you can see an option called Group Name, change it to your new group name.

4. Click on the Save Button to apply the changes.

Actually this information is too old, it doesn’t work with the current facebook group pages.
Dod facebook blocked the rename-option again? I can’t find anything like renacme group or something similiar!?
Hi, In the new facebook group, you can change the name,by clicking on the “Edit Group” option in the right top. There is a text box for group name, simply modify it and save the changes. This post will be updated soon.

3. On the middle of the screen, all the Groups will be displayed.
4. Click the you wish to rename.
5. On the right side of the screen, just below the MEMBERS, you will see the option – .

It seems different..when i want to share posts from others, the groups in the share option doesn’t even show my group name
