“XML Parsing Error Not Well Formed”
Here is one of the problem that I had for a long time but , just now noticed it. The sitemap.xml file failed to load , with the above given error description. The reason for this turned out to be my .htaccess file. There were few privileges that conflicted with the Google Sitemap Plugin, Removing these lines, fixed the XML problem.

The lines was the permission I set for a plugin called Website Optimizer, I deleted them , will try to get them back soon
I also got error before with the plugin. It's about the permission in in the server. Manage to solved that. Great plugin =)
Ya, you need 777 permission for the folder , else the plugin will cause error during building the XML.
A little more clarification may help many.

After shifting my hosting to Host Monster, I don't know where is the mistake. My sitemap is failed. Need a lil bit clarity in this post Ram.
Dude, Check the .htaccess file, try to have only the code ,that you get from the Google webmaster tool.

google xml sitemap plugin is vry heavy on sebsite servsr. 4 using it we must hve a vps..
I already use this great plugin and it works wonders!
But still some times it suffers from errors.
Yeah it happens, perhaps if the permission is set right , it can run through without any error for the rest of the course.
Google love sitemaps, so avoid having errors with them.
You know what.. Since I launched my blogs I never used any sitemap ;-P. Seems like they are good for SEO and I should give them atleast a try.
