Apple’s much awaited and finally much criticized product iPad will now be available for sale in United States from April 3rd onwards. The Wifi with 3G model is however expected to hit the market by the end of April . Inspite of the criticism by others, iPad will be a sure hit.
Meanwhile Sony has planned to develop an alternative for iPad. The date of completion of their project is not officially been announced. But by that time they could release the product, atleast a million copies of iPad will be sold out.

I know , I too quite read a lot about it, The problem is that people compare a iPad to a PC and that makes them come up with many drawbacks, They fail to look at it the good way, Anyway Im expecting apple to come up with a revision, the next release will be rocking, and the prices will drop by then. I will get one for my car when the price drops over 10k INR.

Yup! Prices are really too high, I don’t know why Apple make so expensive products, whose perform is just OK-OK. Kindle is better.
Thats a general trick of Apple, They First sell it for a higher price and later drop them to attract more buyers. People’s mentality is to buy a product when the price gets down.

ipad looks so sleek but prices are too high and I think everyone would be interested for “with 3g” ipad
The prices infact are one drawback however as expected they may drop within few months.
Let any asian gaint such as sony launch some thing that is equivalent to the ipad, i m sure they will come up with better marketing strategys that will attract the indian buyers, they have done this in past and will do it again,
Wish that could happen very soon Nilay. Sony is already on its way to develop an iPad Alternative. But the success of the product will surely lie on its price When Indian markets are considered.
But i pad will have genuine buyers, irrespective of its price tags. indian market is huge, but i still think that smarter crowd will wait and watch,

Yup the 3g one will make give the iPad a new dimension rather than the one without 3G. Talking about the price, I reckon the prices will down very soon (may be a year)
