IFSC is Indian Financial System Code, an Unique Code generated to each branch of a bank. The IFSC code is required during the verification of a online services like PayPal.  However not many are aware of the IFSC code, and the official bank fails to provide the code for each of its branch. So here are some easy ways to get the IFSC code of any bank branch in India.

1. www.netinfobase.com

Net Info Base is a very good website to find the IFSC codes. Moreover the search is so optimized that you can find the IFSC codes, just by doing few click,to be precise by selecting your state, city, bank name and branch name.

2. Official RBI Website

The Reserve Bank of India Provides has the Complete Database of IFSC, these are the NEFT Enabled branches. Check out the RBI IFSC Database here. The reason I rated the RBI website in second position, is that its not easy as in the first case to find the IFSC code. The RBI code provides the details of all the bank branches in India, in excel format. You got to manually find them according to the state, city and branch name, which will be really hectic. However the advantage of using RBI Website is that they are the most trusted ones and  the other services render results based on RBI database.

I have created a website http://www.ifscfinder.com which I believe makes finding an IFSC code very easiy. You don’t need to do multiple selections like State, City and bank instead of that type your query and it will find it for you.
