“Damn Small Linux” is one of the linux distribution that is known for its light weight. This article is a prelude to my next article on How to create a Bootable USB Linux using “Universal USB Installer”.

- Can be fully resided on RAM itself – Occupies around 128Mb.
- Applications include – a Browser( Firefox), Word Processor (TED), Email (Sylpheed), Image Editor, Picture Viewer, Instant Messaging, VOIP, Multimedia Player and lot more required for normal usage.
- Can be extended using MySQL.
- Supports both Xvesa and Xfbdev – the 2 famous X Servers in Linux.
