Microsoft has now released the beta version of Visual Studio 2010. The product comes in three different licenses.
1.Professional
2.Premium
3.Ultimate
Visual Studio 2010 seems to be more promising than the previous versions. Some of the notable features in Visual Studio 2010 are
- Built in support for Mutli-Core and Cloud computing
- New prototyping, modeling and visual tools are available
- Integrated tools for Modeling, designing,building and lot more.
- Features new Intellisense editor and an IntelliTrace debugger
- Contains automated testing tools.
- Contains Azure and other development toolkits
- Allows to develop application with the .NET 4 framework
- Support for SharePoint Development
With all these features and .NET 4 framework , i’m eagerly waiting for stable release.

we are working on this in our office.. It hangs up frequently.. Hope they will rectify this in stable version…

Still using VS 2k5 and it works fine for me although VS 2k8 is already installed on my PC. It’s kinda I dislike .Net 3.5 or later haha

@Rajesh: Beta versions have those kind of problems. They will fix these things in the stable as you said.
@Phaloo: I do prefer vs 2k5 more than vs 2k8, only because I feel it is faster.

Good Configuration PC will work. Recommended Hardware requirements have those problem sometimes.

I would say any PC with 2Gb RAM and any multicore will be a good config for VS2010.
Cloud support is appreciated. Let’s wait for a stable release.
