Best in the list: Download Accelerator Plus

Reason: Has excellent performance and lot of features


Worst in the list:  ML Donkey

Reason: Freeware , opensource but whats the use, when it fails to download from lot of sites icon sad 15 Download Managers


My pick out of the list:  FlashGet

Reason: You get it for free icon biggrin 15 Download Managers and I must admit, it doesnt have those many features as DAP but still pretty good for normal use.

    Good alternatives , btw al of these are for windows , i would be happy to know for linux too
    and i use ubuntu ,kubuntu and fedora ! 3 :D

    The list is nice. DAP was my favorite & next was FlashGet.

    Internet download manager is the best in this list. I mean I used to use that way back in 2006, but my mozilla is doing a great job for me.

    I’ve been using IDM for more that 3 years now, and tried others too but still cannot beat IDM. I’ll stick to it
