2009 has proven to be a great year and a wonderful one  for all those search engines out their, for every litter things search engines are tend to be  used today and yahoo is considered one of the most widely used, past week  yahoo’s realized its own top searches for 2009 . Which is always dominated by celebrity faces and events which happened through out the past twelve months surprisingly after being the most searched people for the past four years Britney was knocked out of the top this year .

10. Runescape was the 10^th among the list, this online RPG game was released in 2001 and is one of the fastest growing RPG games among the gamers rite now. Its already has over 10 million active accounts and it’s the world’s most popular free MMORPG (massively multiplayer online role-playing game).

9. Nascar: coming in at number nine is the most popular car racing event in North America after F1 faced an all time low this season Nascar series become one of the most watched racing event on the calendar.

8.Kim Kardashian :This  sexy diva burst into fame in 2007 by an unusual way since then she never failed to appeared in every gossip Colum red carpet event and movie premier now she also stars in her very own television  reality show Keeping Up with the Kardashians witch is aired in E!

7. American idol: it has to be said that it’s the most watched reality talent search show of the decade, started in 2002 its still running very successfully at the top witch already found  stars like Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood , Chris Daughtry  and plenty more ,next year show the inclusion of the famous comedian talk show host Ellen DeGeneres as one of the idol host is did making quite a buzz and American idol is the seventh most search thing in 2009.

6 Naruto: This is originally a Japanese animated series which is about a young boy named Naruto Uzumaki , who has the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox sealed within him and the story takes off from their. It was aired in 2002 and continues to impress, the sixth most searched in yahoo search list.

5. Britney Spears: spears was the most searched personality for the last four straight years. After dominating the search engine for couple of years Britney was fifth among all the searches. The pop diva had many ups and downs this year which brought her to this point.

4. Megan Fox: she appeared in couple of sitcoms before stared in the Transformers series, the movie made her famous and from their on in Megan Fox became an instant star, she also became the most searched babe for 2009 knocking off Britney from the top spot. Fox is considered to be the next Angelina Jolie and the fourth personality in the list.

3. WWE:it was really surprising to see wwe even make it into this list but even thought the fights are fixed and dialogs are scripted its still is one of the most  entertaining sports sitcoms of all time (couldn’t find a better word for it ).Although people tend to search for it he introduction of special host each week that is special celebrity guest hosting the show every week this may have placed it back onto the map.

2. Twilight: Well nothing much can be said about the twilight saga, I guess vampire story is like a trend for this year theirs a hand full of shows like vampire diaries true blood and also couple movies which was out this year which is based on vampires and stuff .it was harry potter yesterday and its twilight today who knows what kind fantasy gimmick would make it next anyway the adaptation of the book has really being a success for a movie but still its just another vampire movie.

1. Michael Jackson: The king of pop made waves when he decided to comeback with string of live concerts in England, but in june2009 the news broke that Michael was past way which made the whole of the web went haywire with key words linking with the death of MJ this must have being the most search news of the year. The story continued even after his death and the release of “this is it” made the Michael as the most searched people on yahoo search.
