PlayStation 3 stand as one of the top gaming console today.The new machine looks glossy with futuristic look on it ,This is the most powerful machine to be around.PlayStation 3 was officially launched on  17th of November 2006 across North America with a hard disk space varies from 20 GB – 160 GB , some of the features includes – USB ports for all your external devices like memory card and flash drives, Third party OS installation like Linux,blue ray player witch replaces the traditional DVD player,Which means user can now get to watch high def movies in their very own console,memory card readers flash disk readers,built in Wi-fi connectivity,  wireless controllers, and ps2 emulators is inbuilt which is something what gamers expected to be.PlayStation 3 was released  all over India on  27th of  April 2007,Since then Sony always made couple of changes to the console every year till they found a perfect blend of gaming pleasure and multimedia experience in their product.

Sony PlayStation 3 – Slim

When PlayStation 2  was launched few years back Sony came up with the slim version after four years of the original release,And the slim version proved to be quite a good deal and sold more.Similarly Sony have released PlayStation 3 Slim on 1st of September 2009 (Three years after the original release)which has lota changes compared with the Fat console  .Today’s games are likely to be consume more processor memory than usual with high def resolution and picture perfect details to the environment .This doesn’t affect the performance of the Slim,it works like a charm.

As mentioned it has quite a bit of change to the entire console. The whole thing is slimmer than usual it comes with three different colors (Charcoal Black,White and Pink ) ,It doesn’t match the features of the Fat edition but still have the essential ones like Wi-Fi connectivity ,USB supportability (usb 2.0)  ,memory card readers,and free online gaming ( which is absolutely fabulous).connecting PSP is also possible.The hard drives in the Slim are easily upgradable , Also power adapters are bulit-in so that it wont be messy with all those wires around.Their are wide range of games with some exclusives like Gran Turismo 5,God of War III and much more .

Compromise

The reduction of the price means they have to compromise few things like theirs no more glossy look (Like the one in PS3 Fat version). The power button is changed back to the traditional one unlike in PS3 fat it was a touch screen , Third party OS installation is no more in the slim console.One of the main drawback of the slim version is backward comparability is not possible which mean all your PlayStation and PlayStation 2 disk cant be played in the slim .But still the slim version is lot more lighter and slimmer and also consumes less power than the previous one.It is also the less noisier (processor fan sound) than the fat version.Most of all its the cheapest.

PS3 slim is rummer to be launched in the end of this month but probably will be launched early next month  with a price tag to be expected around 19,999 INR .
